Cow parsley (nothing to do with cows) is beginning to get established in the meadow.  And very welcome it is too.  It is just going over; you can see that seeds are beginning to form. In the beds up against the back of the house are several ancient herbaceous peonies.  This photo was taken at about eight in the morning with a light dew still on the flowers. Not a plant I was particularly aware of before I started work at the Priory.  I am now.
